WELCOME to Parkview Nursery School or the ‘Thomas School’ as we are known in Millom.

We are an 80 place school for boys and girls who can join us at the beginning of the term following their third birthday. Children are entitled to five sessions of two and a half hours, usually morning or afternoon, a week.
We can take children from any part of Cumbria and when our children leave us they have the option of several local primary schools in the area.

The times of our sessions are: Morning 9.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and Afternoons 12.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.

We offer
• A child-centred curriculum based on the needs and interests of each child and with guidance from the ‘Foundation Stage Curriculum’ component of the National Curriculum
• A happy, safe and interesting environment where children want to learn and who become sociable people who will reach their full potential in life.
• An inclusive education for all children – all children have needs and some might need more support than others. Our experienced and committed staff are here to help!

All the staff at Parkview Nursery School are all well qualified and experienced and all want and expect the very best for the children in our care.
